Thank you for taking the time early this morning to update us on the latest progress!
Advancement in drug therapies is great, but I am looking forward to stem cells or a cure. I would be interested in hearing more about embryonic stem cell treatment for diabetes, which is being done out of the USA. Several companies are charging a $25,000 fee and administering various sorts of cells, but the evidence appears to antidotal and isn’t being tracked and presented to potential patients. Do you think stem cells are already a viable treatment for diabetes, and if no will it be in the next five year, 10 years, or longer? I am all for using the newest treatments available to their fullest potential even with the associated risks, but insulin and drugs fall far short of a cure.
