Dear Dr. Joe:

I think you are misstating the position of President Bush with regard to the expansion of SCHIP. The administration opposes the expansion of SCHIP to children whose parents have incomes of two and three times the poverty level which is what is contained in the bill passed by the House.

The President has stated that this unprecidented expansion is the begining of the introduction of socialized medicine in the US.

I agree with the President on this issue and I do not believe it is my responsibility to pay for other people's healthcare through my taxes.

Tune in today, Sept. 27th on Opra to hear more of the 'Sicko' story from Michael Moore and Opra guests.
If we can pay with our taxes for fire, police, and other services why not health care? The insurance companies find many ways to avoid payment as they are for profit and the ceo's have huge pensions. Do you want to support that system instead Ron?
