I found you on Google. Was searching Byetta and Insulin usage. I just started Insulin 30units a day in October 07. Body weight now up 22 lbs.
I started Byetta a day ago to try to get my own body to produce more insulin and help with the weight gain.
Do you have any infomation on using both medications at the same time? Also, what do you think about the 60 minutes special last Sunday regarding the elimination of diabetes as a side effect of the gastric bypass surgery? It had to do with bypassing the duodenum.
We usually stop all insulin when starting Byetta. Weight loss follows.
It is great when starting but huge numbers of people seem to have great problems at two years, long after the study that followed the people. That’s where the problems begin.
