So, to take statins or not? Mine is heredity, no matter what I eat or how much I exercise it won't lower to an acceptable level, however, I don't like the side effects and occasionally I give myself a statin break for a week or two. Your thoughts? Thank you.
The “statin break” is often too brief arid you’re free of the muscular pain that is often present for too short a time. The difficulty is that pain is from the muscles breaking down and being destroyed. The pieces, or chards as they are called, travel to the kidney to be eliminated. However they are too large to be urinated out and end up destroying the kidney
The OBGYN physician who delivered my daughter is now on peritoneal dialysis three times a week.
